Iowa City Book Festival & Day in the City of Literature

The Iowa City Book Festival is a three-day celebration of books, reading and writing presented by the University of Iowa Libraries and the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature. The festival includes readings, discussions, and demonstrations by various authors, illustrators and book making experts. The third day of the festival is the Day in the City of Literature, when local businesses of all kinds throughout Iowa City participate with readings, special activities all day.

The 2011 Festival featured Novel Iowa City, an experimental writing project produced and displayed on Twitter.
