A series of events to mark the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 will be held on the University of Iowa campus this fall. The events include an exhibition on “Napoleon and the Art of Propaganda,” “Intriguing Ink,” a Special Collections open house featuring books and newspapers from 1812, a WorldCanvass program on Napoleon and His Legacy, musical performances, a public reading of Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace and more.
Readers are needed for the public reading of War and Peace. To participate sign up at Philips Hall now through September 19 or on location during the reading. For more information call 354-7605.
